What a lovely barge, surprisingly spacious – full of character. We wanted somewhere ‘quirky’ for our break and this fitted the bill perfectly. The extras (chocolates and Champagne) were a lovely touch.
Thursday 25th April 2019 – Marianne & family;
We’ve had a really good stay with the most fantastic weather. There’s everything you could need here and the breakfast stuff was really useful. The Plough & Sail does lovely food. Good coffee to be had from the cafe next door. Orford is well worth a visit with a Post Office where you can get cash and also sells excellent vegetables. Loads of walks from here with the dogs. Sutton Hoo not far away, which also allows dogs in!

We enjoyed exploring Woodbridge, Orford, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. The Ramsholt Arms is well worth the trek to get there and The Plough & Sail is great to have on the doorstep. The boat is quirky and fun – had a great time and would recommend it to our more mobile friends!
Monday 11th March 2019 – The Hendrys and Belle the dog;
Fantastic location, despite strong winds and some heavy rain we made the most of the local walks and The Plough and Sail. Cosy and comfortable on board. We had a very relaxing time.
Sunday 3rd March 2019 – 5 grown ups and a dog;
Typical ‘weekend away’ weather following a fortnight of fake summer. That didn’t matter as life on Onderneming is blissfully tranquil and peaceful. Can’t think of a better way to lose a couple of days in gloomy February. ‘Congratulations’ to Carl and the team for creating such a lovely and restful environment. ‘There is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats’ – Kenneth Grahame, writer, The Wind in the Willows.

Lovely 70th birthday surprise for ‘Captain Hook’. Excellent accommodation standard for all of us – even for the ‘cabin boy’! And cosy too with the wood burner roaring. Breakfast package much appreciated – cooked breakfast a real treat these days!

What an amazing place to stay. We have had a wonderful post-Xmas and New Year and delighted in the ever changing light and landscapes. Loved exploring the Suffolk coast and the wonderful walks. Fab pubs on doorstep and we enjoyed many pints of Adnams. Even the dogs got their river legs. We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay aboard Onderneming. We celebrated with friends here for two nights with a ‘child free’ early Christmas. Such a fabulous boat in such a wonderful location by the Suffolk coast. Thank you for a faultless stay!

We’ve had a lovely family time on board Onderneming. The views from the barge change every time you look out of the window which is fascinating. Spent a brilliant day in Orford and going out to the Ness lighthouse and AWRE site. Just wish we were staying longer.

Thanks for a great stay. We used this as a base to visit Sutton Hoo, Tide Mill at Woodbridge and Flatford Mill. We also walked the Arthur Ransome Walking Trail. A quirky atmosphere on the barge with the peace and quiet as well as we watched the tide ebb and flow.

Completely relaxing, peaceful with no passing traffic noise. Good local walks but enjoyed watching the birds and changing scenery as tide ebbed and flowed. Loved it! Will definitely return.

What a lovely few days and great weather! Denise gave us a lovely welcome. Lots of great walks from the boat with the added bonus of refreshments at the Butt and Oyster. Wow! What can I say. We have had a fantastic time here at the Endeavour in this blissful location. The boat is beautiful. Pin Mill is a great base with dog walks in all directions. We recommend the walk down to Shotley point with some amazing views and a great pub the Shipwreck at the end! The Butt and Oyster is a great put with great food. A lovely place to sit and watch the boats and tide come in. We don’t want to leave.

Such a peaceful stay in a beautiful location. Enjoyed watching the birds as the water
rolled in and out, and even spotted a seal! Woodbridge is gorgeous with some lovely
walks and welcoming people.

Had a fantastic stay on the barge, which is so cosy and with all the home comforts,
and amazing views. We’ve enjoyed sitting on deck for breakfast, watching the world
go by. Delicious meals at The Table and The Cooks shed and also the Unruly Pig.

Fantastic stay. Cosy and home comforts. Amazing views and great to sit admiring the scenery and watch the world go by. Pottered around Woodbridge and had delicious meals at the Table and Cooks Shed, with another great meal at the Unruly Pig a few miles away.

Amazing place to stay on “Gebroedens” this beautiful barge. So romantic and a great atmosphere being around the boats. Loved Woodbridge and visited Southwold, Aldeburgh and Pin Mill to look at “Onderneming” the other Wood Farm Barge.

Splendid. What a fantastic boat, everything so comfy and accommodating. Woobridge is fab, everything you need including cheeky shopping! We wish time would slow down…we will be back for more!

Thank you so much for a wonderful week on the beautiful TG. Clean and comfortable, enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine. Loved all the cafes, pubs etc especially the Hut and lovely cakes from the bread shop. Overall, fantastic stay in sunny Suffolk in the most unique accommodation. Thank you very much.

Enjoyable night on T.G. with comfy beds and plenty of kitchen equipment. A uniquie experience and enjoyed a lovely meal in the Riverside Restaurant.
